What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Treatment at Live Well Chiropractic

First visits take about 20 to 30 minutes. Here’s what that time covers.

Consultation and History Taking

Your chiropractor goes through your medical history, current symptoms, and what you’re hoping to achieve. If you’ve had X-rays or scans taken elsewhere in the last six months, bring them along.

Postural Assessment and Physical Examination

We run a digital postural scan and a physical examination to identify where misalignment or structural issues are present. This gives us an objective picture of your spine before any treatment begins, not just a description of where it hurts.

First Adjustment

If the examination confirms it’s safe to proceed, you receive your first chiropractic adjustment in the same visit. You don’t need a second appointment before treatment starts.

X-Ray Review and Treatment Plan

On your second visit, your chiropractor walks you through your X-ray findings in plain language, confirms your diagnosis, and outlines a recovery plan matched to your actual condition and goals. No generic protocols.
